Our Story

Five Decades of Creative Excellence

Crestwood College of Arts & Sciences was founded in 1969 by a visionary group of educators who believed that creativity and critical thinking should be at the heart of higher education. Starting with just three departments and 400 students, we have grown into a thriving institution with 6 schools, 156+ programs, and 18,500 students.

Our philosophy is simple: when you combine rigorous academics with boundless creative freedom, you produce graduates who don't just find jobs — they create industries, lead movements, and inspire generations.

Today, Crestwood stands as one of the most respected creative and liberal arts colleges in North America, with alumni shaping culture from Silicon Valley to Broadway, from Tokyo design studios to Cape Town policy halls.
